Let’s learn more about Julie!
What was your first trip?
I have so many important firsts! First trip I remember: Disney World. First International Trip: Canada. First Trip(s) That Sparked My Love of Travel: Traveling around Europe while studying abroad.
Who’s been your best travel companion?
It definitely depends on the trip! My husband and I are perfect travel companions, which is a huge win! I also love to travel with my two sisters. I have a group of friends from college who I go away with every year and we have a blast! And then a lot of girlfriends who I love having a girls weekend with! (But I have definitely learned that just because you like/love someone does not mean you will be good travel buddies!)
What are three things you always take with you when you travel?
1) iPhone (I use it for so much more than communication. It’s also a map, book, TV, etc. My headphones are a must!) 2) DevaCurl Hair Gel: I have specific curly-haired needs so I need my gel if I want to look my best on the trip. 3) SPF: I wear it on my face and hands every single day and never leave home without it!
What’s your favorite souvenir you’ve acquired?
A whale keychain from Hawaii. I was absolutely obsessed with watching the whales when I traveled to Maui and seeing the keychain is a wonderful reminder of my time in that gorgeous place!
